Gaye Gronlund (Camp & Academic Parent) is a writer and the author of twelve books of nonfiction, many professional articles, one novel, and numerous poems and short stories. A former consultant and author for teachers in the field of early childhood education, Gronlund is an an expert in the developmental characteristics of young children and helps authors trying to capture a young child's voice. She is the recipient of the Teacher's Choice Award for Professional Development and a Finalist for the Midwest Book Award from the Midwest Independent Publishing Association.
