Gabrielle Molina, D.M.A.
About Gabrielle
Recognized as an Emerging Teacher by the American Viola Society, Dr. Gabrielle Padilla Molina enjoys a dedicated career as an educator and chamber musician. Molina is an Artist-Faculty member at the Omaha Conservatory of Music. She has previously served as interim viola faculty at Virginia Tech, West Virginia University, and held the prestigious role as a member of the Quartet-in-Residence at the Interlochen Arts Camp. Molina taught as artist faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp and the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. She has conducted masterclasses at the 2024 American Viola Society Festival, Nashville Symphony’s Accelerando Program, Puerto Rico Summer Music Festival, Longwood University, and West Virginia University’s Viola Bootcamp.
Molina has a multifaceted career as an adjudicator, clinician, and presenter. She had the distinct honor to serve as a first round judge for the 2024 Primrose International Viola Competition. Additionally, she has performed and presented at events such as the 47th International Viola Congress, American Viola Society Festivals, National Flute Association Convention, and American String Teachers Association National Conferences.
As a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Molina’s studies were at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, Ball State University with Dr. Katrin Meidell, and West Virginia University, where she proudly served as the Graduate Teaching Assistant of Andrea Priester Houde. Molina is a Board Member of the American Viola Society.
