About Fez
Fez Avery is the 2026-2027 Visiting Instructor of Creative Writing at Interlochen Arts Academy, and has taught poetry at Interlochen Arts Camp since 2023. He is the author of the poetry collection CLAYBOY (Write Bloody Publishing, 2026) and his work can be found in The Journal, Gulf Coast, Passages North, swamp pink, and elsewhere. He is pursuing a PhD in poetry from Western Michigan University and holds an MFA in poetry from Virginia Tech and a BA in creative writing and literature from the University of Michigan.
