About Feng

Feng Kang currently serves as a collaborative pianist at Whitman College in Washington, where he works extensively with students and faculty in both vocal and instrumental studios. Known for his versatility and expressive playing, Kang has performed throughout North America, China, and Taiwan. His engagements have included solo appearances with major ensembles such as the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, as well as a featured performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Kang has been recognized in a number of international competitions, including the Elevato Piano Competition (Poland), the Cambridge Music Competition (United Kingdom), and the National Taiwan Music Competition. In 2019, he was selected for the Taipei Symphony Orchestra’s prestigious “Music Talent Pool,” an initiative honoring outstanding young artists.

He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University, a Master of Music from Taipei National University of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from National Kaohsiung Normal University. Deeply committed to collaborative performance, Kang brings a refined musical sensibility, technical excellence, and a supportive artistic presence to both the stage and the studio.
