About Erin

Repke is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and arts educator whose career spans more than three decades of performance, choreography, and arts leadership across regional, national, and international stages. She began her formal training with the Michigan State University Dance Company, performing in A Chorus Line at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, and continued her studies at Point Park University, where she performed with the Pittsburgh Playhouse and trained with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.

Her early career included national and international touring with Majestic Cruise Line and Brockett Productions. Repke later established herself in Orlando, Florida, performing in the Equity production of The Will Rogers Follies at the Mark II Theatre. She was also a featured dancer and later a principal performer at Capone’s Dinner Theatre (1998–2000), while simultaneously choreographing and performing in numerous industrial productions.

Since relocating to Northern Michigan in 2000, Repke has become a central figure in the region’s performing arts community. She has performed with and choreographed for Company Dance Traverse and contributed choreography to Equity productions at the State Theatre.

Repke has served as a Choreographer and Instructor of Dance at Interlochen Center for the Arts since 2000, where she is recognized for her commitment to excellence, mentorship, and the development of pre-professional artists. She also directed and choreographed productions for Traverse City Area Public Schools from 2000–2022 and served as Artistic Director of Miracle Productions (2008–2018), providing young performers with early professional opportunities.

Her work extends to roles as an independent artist, educator, and lighting designer for regional schools. A passionate advocate for arts education, Repke continues to inspire emerging artists while contributing meaningfully to the cultural landscape of Northern Michigan and beyond.
