About Edward

Edward Angelo (he/him) is a composer and grew up in rural Maine. He recently graduated with a M.M. in Music Composition from SUNY Fredonia where he studied with Andrew M. Smith and Rob Deemer. Before completing his master's degree, Angelo was a high school music teacher, teaching band, chorus, and general music classes. He studied music education at UMaine for his bachelor's degree with an instrumental concentration. While there, he took trombone lessons with Dan Barrett and composition lessons with Beth Wiemann.

I encourage my students to work towards a goal of being as effective and efficient of a communicator as possible. Every composer deserves to have their music heard as they imagined it.
