About Carly

Carly McCall returned to Interlochen in January 2025 for what she terms her fourth “tour of duty.” With this move, she is thrilled to be back working directly with students, in service to the residential life team. Her previous Interlochen experience includes five years as Alumni Director, ten summers at Interlochen Arts Camp in divisional camp positions, and a year on the IAA Residence Life team.

Prior to returning to Interlochen, McCall spent eleven years with Northwestern Michigan College as Director of Alumni Engagement and campaign coordinator for Be What’s Possible, NMC’s first comprehensive campaign, which raised $40 million dollars over 5 years. Her previous experiences include management & operations, program design, and fundraising for arts and education, serving organizations of varying sizes, from Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City to Carnegie Hall in New York.

She holds degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University and Albion College. Grateful for all the opportunities she has benefited from, McCall is passionate about connecting individuals and organizations through the combined power of lifelong education, personal exploration, and open communication.
