About Andy

Andy Mozina is the author of the novel Contrary Motion (Spiegel & Grau, 2016) and two story collections, Quality Snacks (Flannery O�۪Connor Award finalist) and The Women Were Leaving the Men (winner of the GLCA New Writers Award). His fiction has appeared in Tin House, Southern Review, Ecotone, The Missouri Review, and elsewhere, and has received special citations in Best American Short Stories, Pushcart Prize, and New Stories from the Midwest. He also wrote a book of literary criticism, Joseph Conrad and the Art of Sacrifice (Routledge). He and his wife, Lorraine Alberts, live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he teaches literature and creative writing at Kalamazoo College.
