Jon Krosnick (NMC 69-77) played the drums on the Ann Arbor-based Lunar Octet’s new album, Convergence (Summit Records).

Scott Burgess (IAA 78-82) will spend the summer as chief audio engineer at the Aspen Music Festival and School. Burgess’ responsibilities will include recording and live streaming performances.

Christine Smith (87-88, ICA St 93-94) owns a social impact business called Khazana which connects socially conscious people to authentic experiences in art, cuisine, and stories to empower women in war-torn countries. She recently published a cookbook called "Cuisine of the Silk Road: The Authoritative Guide to Afghanistan and Pakistani Cooking.”

Dr. David Montee (IAA Fac 88-17) published a book of memoirs and essays covering his 30 years on the theatre faculty at Interlochen, titled "Don't Put Your Daughter on the Stage? Lessons and Advice for Young Actors, Their Teachers, and Their Families." The book is available though Amazon.

Keitaro Harada (IAA 02-04, IAC 03) was appointed associate conductor of Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in April 2021. He is also in his first season as music and artistic director of Savannah Philharmonic in Georgia.
