Brass Ensemble Workshop

Gain valuable performance experience and improve your ensemble playing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Under the direction of world-class brass faculty, you will explore repertoire by composers like Malcolm Arnold, Eugene Bozza and Victor Ewald in state of the art rehearsal and performance facilities. 

Collaborate with fellow brass players in both large and small chamber ensembles and receive group instruction focusing on intonation, dynamics, balance, and overall sound production. The workshop will culminate with a brass ensemble performance open to general public and will be live streamed for virtual viewing.

Prerequisites:

  • Individuals should have experience playing grading scale level 4-5 music, either during their secondary or higher education or within a community or professional band or orchestra.

Repertoire for the 2025 Brass Ensemble Workshop will be announced shortly and will consist of works by composers such as Malcolm Arnold, Eugene Bozza and Victor Ewald.
