This exciting performance by some of Interlochen’s most prominent alumni celebrates a century of Interlochen’s lasting impact on young artists and the arts world beyond the stately pines.

The Centennial Celebration Orchestra features an historic performance by 115 talented alumni musicians, mirroring Interlochen’s very first orchestra from the summer of 1928. This extraordinary event unites artists from esteemed orchestras worldwide to perform a program of "Interlochen Then, Now, and Next," including a world-premiere commission by an Interlochen alumnus to launch the next century of excellence. By bringing these distinguished artists back to the Kresge stage, exactly one hundred years after that first historic performance, we are honoring the transformative journey of our alumni while showcasing Interlochen’s profound, ongoing impact on the global arts community.
