About Megan

A veteran boarding school and student life professional, Megan Walton is the Vice Provost of Student Life at Interlochen Arts Academy. Before her appointment to the Academy, Walton served as Assistant Head of School at Besant Hill School in Ojai, California, and Dean of Students at Andrews Osborne Academy and Gilmour Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.

I believe that students thrive, achieve their goals, and embrace their individual potential when supported by a culture that fosters integrity, enthusiasm for learning, and honors difference. Toward this end, I work to ensure that students have every opportunity to become their best selves.

- Previous independent school administrative positions include Director of Guidance, Director Of College Counseling, Director of Athletics, and Department Chair.
