Interlochen’s third annual Act for Art Giving Days are May 3-5, and we need your help! Most volunteer opportunities take just a few minutes of your time, and have a huge impact on the success of this crowdfunding effort. Learn more about the various volunteer activities and sign up to volunteer.
Act for Art is our time to rally to the support of this summer’s campers and Academy students finishing their school year in May. Together, as a community, we can make an Interlochen experience possible for students who would not be able to attend without financial aid. Interlochen is a place where a creative young person will never hear that their dreams are too big. You know that there is no substitute for a transformative arts education in the life of a young creative. And no one should be denied it because of financial circumstances.
That’s why it matters that young artists of all backgrounds have the opportunity to learn and grow at Interlochen. Nearly 2,000 Academy and Camp students received financial aid this academic year. That’s why it matters that volunteers join in to make sure Act for Art is a success.
In 2022, dedicated supporters gave more than $408,000 toward scholarships through Act for Art. This incredible achievement resulted from the efforts of 65 wonderful volunteers, who inspired 445 people to give. As a volunteer, you can help increase the number of donors–and the amount of funds raised–this year for an even greater impact.
