Screenwriting Intensive
Why Take Screenwriting
Spend a week during this screenwriting summer program on our gorgeous campus drafting your creativity and imagination into stories and scripts that matter to you, all while working one-on-one with seasoned screenwriters, filmmakers, and visiting guest artists.
What You'll Learn
You'll have daily instruction and lab time to work individually on your scripts and screenplays. Under the guidance of our professional filmmaking instructors, you'll leave the program having developed and completed a short script for your portfolio. You'll also have the opportunity for a staged reading of your work with your fellow screenwriters.

Interlochen is like a mini college: Students learn in a way that fuels their individual interest, but they come home to a group of friends who vary in major. Interlochen has inspired me to be a fearless, open-minded, and driven student of the arts.
