Acoustic Guitar Retreat

Why Attend Acoustic Guitar Retreat

The 2023 Acoustic Guitar Retreat features an accomplished faculty to help energize your playing skills. Learn from Matthew Schroeder, Tom Clippert, and acoustic and fingerstyle guitar guest artists Calum Graham and Richard Gilewitz.

In this four-day program, participants will attend workshops covering the spectrum of acoustic and fingerstyle guitar. Topics include arranging, composing, theory and technique, as well as performance tips and ways to stay inspired. You will experience intimate evening concerts featuring our guest artists Calum Graham and Richard Gilewitz. Participants should have at least one year of serious study on the guitar, know how to read either tablature or standard notation, and possess a basic understanding of chord structure and alternate tunings. Students must supply their own instrument.
