About Autumn

Autumn West, soprano, enjoys an active career spanning performance, teaching, administration, and advocacy.

West's professional engagements have seen her perform with organizations such as Cincinnati Opera, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin from Moscow, Painted Sky Opera, Canterbury Voices, Grant Park Music Festival, and many others. She is also an active recitalist whose current projects include Rorem's masterpiece Evidence of Things Not Seen and a recording project of works for clarinet and voice.

West is a highly sought after educator who currently serves as Assistant Professor of Voice at Oklahoma City University and as faculty and Voice Area Coordinator for Interlochen Arts Camp, and she frequently conducts masterclasses and guest appearances at universities nationwide.

West is passionate about equity within the performing arts, and serves as an active faculty mentor for OCU CARE, an advocacy organization on OCU's campus, as well as on the Representation, Equity, and Inclusion committee of the Musical Theater Educators' Alliance.
