What to give
You can support the mission of Interlochen by making current or future gifts. Current gifts include donations of cash, securities, gifts-in-kind, gifts in honor or in memory, or similar assets. Current gifts also can be made in the form of a pledge commitment payable over a three- to five-year period. Future gifts are typically made in conjunction with your estate plan, such as including Interlochen in your will or establishing a trust or similar tax-advantaged life-income gift.
The Interlochen Fund
The Interlochen Fund fuels the very heart of Interlochen. This pooled fund provides critical support for the Interlochen experience. We make the Interlochen dream possible for our students through scholarships and financial aid. The Camp and Academy are not collections of students from wealthy families, which is why half of our students receive some form of financial aid. Your gift will go directly toward student support - not to administrative overhead. It is a gift that will change a life.

Planned giving
A "planned gift" refers to a charitable donation strategy that is designed to help everyone involved - a nonprofit organization, donors, and donors' heirs. A planned gift can take many forms, including a bequest in a will, charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, charitable lead trust, life insurance, and retirement/IRA gift. Each form of planned giving has unique benefits.
Endowment
Endowment funds are invested, and only the earnings from these investments are expended towards endowed scholarships and other important initiatives. Each year a portion of these earnings are reinvested, ensuring that the fund retains its buying power over time. Since an endowment’s principal is never spent, a gift to our endowment is a permanent investment in Interlochen’s enduring mission.

Sponsorship
Becoming an Interlochen Presents sponsor is one of many ways businesses can support Interlochen Center for the Arts. With hundreds of presentations each year by students, faculty and world-renowned guest artists, Interlochen's power to inspire and entertain audiences is woven into the fabric of life in the Grand Traverse region.
Matching gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. If your employer participates, request a matching gift form from them, and send it completed and signed with your gift by mail or following your online gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Interlochen Center for the Arts may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some employers also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
Underwriting Interlochen Public Radio
Successful businesses throughout our region know that Interlochen Public Radio program underwriting is an affordable and effective way to reach an important group of people, the IPR audience.
