A Record Breaking Season

Crescendo issue: July 2014

The Interlochen College of Creative Arts (ICCA) has officially kicked off its robust three-month summer season of programming for adult artists.

This summer season of adult arts programs marks the first summer for the College’s new director, Leslie Donaldson. We sat down with Leslie to learn more about what is happening with ICCA and what is coming next for adult artists.

“Our artists have traveled from across the region and across the country to learn new art forms, polish their skills, study with master teachers, generate new work, and meet and perform with other enthusiasts,” she continued.

New course offerings have been added to the tried and true favorites this year.

Leslie notes that the popularity of these programs, mixed with the popularity of many other offerings, is a testament to the quality of the College’s offerings and the focus that it places on providing adult artists with the very best in continuing arts education.

“Countless participants have told me how much they ‘love the atmosphere’ and have mentioned the ‘exceptional instruction’ they received from our talented faculty,” she added.

Leslie encourages anyone who is interested in learning more to visit college.interlochen.org and check out the inaugural fall 2014 season of ICCA. The upcoming season offers inspiring and transformative arts opportunities for adults.
