About Mickey

Mickey Spaulding started her career in student affairs at Interlochen in 2010 (Thor Johnson hall staff, 2010-2012) and has since worked in various roles within residence life at different institutions. Spaulding has returned to Interlochen in the role of Director of Residence Life and is elated to be back on campus and a part of the Interlochen community once again. Spaulding holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Media Theory & History from the American University of Rome in Rome, Italy and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Sioux Falls. In her free time, Spaulding enjoys baking, true crime podcasts and documentaries, and spending time with her three pets: Mousse, Snickers, and Cannoli. A native Michigander, she loves living "up north" and all that the local area has to offer. Spaulding has devoted her career to student support and development and is excited to have the opportunity to continue that work with students at Interlochen through her focus in Social-Emotional Learning on campus.
