Interlochen Arts Academy students regularly tour during the academic year—providing amazing "on the road" experiences throughout the nation and the world.
Although Interlochen Arts Academy is nestled deep in the woods of northwest Michigan, it's imperative for Interlochen students to understand the importance of touring. Whether it's music, dance, theatre, creative writing, interdisciplinary arts, film and new media, or visual arts, taking one's art on the road and presenting it in new venues and to new audiences is an unparalleled learning experience.
Several touring opportunities are on the horizon. See below for the upcoming Interlochen Arts Academy touring schedule:
Resolve. In 2019, students performed two different multidisciplinary performances, one showcased at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan and the other at National Sawdust in Brooklyn.
