Playwright Ken Ludwig Works with Theatre Students

In July 2012, Interlochen repertory theatre production students worked with playwright and director Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a TenorMoon Over BuffaloThe Adventures of Tom SawyerLeading LadiesAn American in ParisCrazy for You and many more) on Ken Ludwig's Midsummer/Jersey, directed by J.W. Morrisette. Students also had the opportunity to do readings of two of Ludwig's plays currently in progress, as well as Baskerville, which Ludwig is directing at the Kennedy Center this fall. Ludwig wrote about his experience at Interlochen on his blog:

"[Interlochen] is a center for the study of the arts that is second to none in the world, and the calibre of students and teachers is unbelieveable. I've never been in a place where there is so much creativity swirling around."
