Zoom Webinar

Join us for a restorative presentation, discussion, and interactive workshop on resilience with Jennifer Martin, Psy.D. (IAC 96, 98, IAA 98-01), Licensed Clinical Psychologist and owner of Gemstone Wellness in Chicago, IL.

What is resilience? Why do we care? The past year has been challenging for most people, but it has hit those who make a living in the arts especially hard. You’ll learn from Dr. Martin and hear from a small panel of Interlochen alumni who will share their stories of resilience - the struggles they faced during the pandemic, how they adapted, and their outlook today. The event will conclude with a special guided reflection to help you put the last year in context and find a productive way forward.

Panelists

  • Brad Gemeinhardt (IAC 94, IAA 94-96, IAC Fac 11-19), 3rd Horn, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra; Faculty, Columbia University; Faculty, The Juilliard School Pre-College Division; Valade Fellow, Interlochen Arts Camp
  • Rebecca Stenn (IAC/NMC 81-82, IAA 83-85), Choreographer, Writer, Painter; Artistic Director, Rebecca Stenn Company; Assistant Professor, The New School; Lecturer, Princeton University; Choreographer in Residence, Dartmouth College

No matter your profession or life experience, you'll be inspired by these stories and learn practical tools that you'll carry into the future.
