Interlochen Center for the Arts president Trey Devey.
On July 7, Interlochen Center for the Arts president Trey Devey joined Interlochen Public Radio’s Kate Botello on Morning Classical.
During the hour-long segment, Devey shared some of his favorite classical pieces with IPR’s listeners. Devey’s selections included J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, John Adams’ “Short Ride in a Fast Machine,” and Interlochen Arts Academy alumna TJ Cole’s Scherzo “Ach Wie Fluchtig, Ach Wie Nichtig.” Two of Devey’s selections — Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” and Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait” — were performed by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
