Interlochen takes the stage at David Geffen Hall

The Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra and Dance Co. made their debut as part of the 2016 NY Phil Biennial, with a program titled "Young Americans." Led by Los Angeles-based conductor Christopher Rountree, the program consisted of world premieres of Chaconnes by Hannah Lash, Bound to the Bow by Interlochen alumna Ashley Fure, and New York premieres of Machine (2002) by Jennifer Higdon and So Far So Good (2012) by Nico Muhly. The Muhly piece also included the world premiere of an original dance piece choreographed by Christopher Williams.
