Flutist Nancy Stagnitta, violinist Ara Sarkissian, violist Renee Skerik, and collaborative pianist Ya-Ju Chuang will perform a selection of diverse works.

Four members of the Interlochen Arts Academy music faculty will present a free recital on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

The recital will feature flutist Nancy Stagnitta, violinist Ara Sarkissian, violist Renee Skerik, and collaborative pianist Ya-Ju Chuang in solo, duo, and ensemble selections. Repertoire for the evening includes classical works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as contemporary works by Valerie Coleman and Bohuslav Martinu.

"Preparing this recital together with esteemed faculty colleagues and exquisite musicians, who happen to be good friends as well, has been a joy,” said Nancy Stagnitta on behalf of the performers. “The artistic process involved in exploring the repertoire and bringing it to life is something we treasure, and we are very excited to share this program and collaboration with our students and the greater community."

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will take place in the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall. The event is free, and tickets are not required.
