Students in grades 6-9 explore the musical theatre experience through work on songs, foundational acting techniques and choreography. The three-week session culminates with a showcase musical revue.
During this three-week program, students participate in the following:
- Musical theatre workshop encompasses acting, vocal work and movement.

This program is recommended for students with moderate theater experience.
Video 1: Two 16-bar excerpts from two songs with piano accompaniment. One excerpt should be from an up-tempo song, and one should come from a ballad or slow song. Song excerpts should be no longer than 16 bars and should come from standard musical theatre repertoire.
Video 2: One monologue of your choice from a published play or musical. (No longer than two minutes in length.)
