Travis Wade is a Grove City, Pennsylvania based writer. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing with concentrations in Poetry and Creative Non-fiction from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a BA in English with a concentration in Writing from Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania. Travis was awarded a grant by the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council to travel home to Farmington, New Mexico to work on his graduate thesis “The Four Corners of a Self Portrait,” a mixed-media poetry project which examines his Hispanic roots as well as the cultural diversity and industry of the area he is originally from. A passionate editor, he has worked as the Assistant Poetry Editor of “The Fourth River” – Chatham University’s literary journal as well as two-time Head Editor of “The Illumina,” San Juan College’s literary magazine. He currently holds workshops for youth and adults in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
