Rosie Forrest

Rosie holds an MFA degree in creative writing from the University of New Hampshire, where as a teaching fellow, she received the Dick Shea Memorial Award and the Thomas Williams Award for fiction writing. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Whiskey Island Magazine, The Ampersand Review, Prime Mincer Literary Journal, and Trachodon Literary Magazine. Additionally, her flash fiction will appear in Bite: An Anthology of Cheek Teeth's Flash Fiction. As a writer/performer, she has been a featured guest with 2nd Story, Chicago's live storytelling company, performing personal narratives in venues throughout the city. Rosie teaches writing at both DePaul University and Northwestern, and in the summers she is a member of the creative writing faculty for Interlochen Arts Camp. As a fiction writer with a background in theatre, Rosie is often exploring where narrative and theatricality collide.
