Peter Matthew Stack
About Peter
Peter Stack is excited to be working their eighth summer at Interlochen, having spent the last two years away while earning a master's degree from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan, Stack taught painting to college students while creating their own body of work that included several different mediums. In 2023, Stack produced their thesis show titled Cacospectamania, which included over 60 works of art. Stack was also featured in the "2023 LGBQT2S+ artists of Michigan" art show at the Lansing Art Gallery.
I believe in holding students to high standards, while also providing them with a high level of support. I challenge my students to step outside of their creative comfort zone in an effort to grow as artists.
