Mica's Interlochen career began in 2011 as the Residence Hall Manager for Thor Johnson and McWhorter Houses at Interlochen Arts Academy. She continued to serve as a Costume Shop Assistant and Stitcher for the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival and the Theatre Division of Interlochen Arts Camp during the Camp 2012 season. In June 2013, Mica joined the Office of Admission and Financial Aid serving as the Enrollment Coordinator, Recruitment Coordinator, and Admission Counselor for High School Camp. In her current role as Assistant Director of Admission, Mica advises prospective high school students from all disciplines and their families to find the best program fit as they explore Interlochen Arts Camp.

Mica holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Indiana University, where she graduated with honors. She has worked with the Indiana University Festival Theater (IN), the Cardinal Theater Company (IN), the Traverse City Dance Project (MI), Crooked Tree Arts Center Traverse City (MI), Higher Art Gallery (MI), and Kurn Hattin Homes for Children (VT). While maintaining a professional art practice, Mica enjoys working as a costume designer with Parallel 45: A Northern Michigan Theatre in addition to freelance historical costume design and production.
