Laurie Lake holds a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and a Masters in Library Information Science from Indiana University. She has held performance librarian positions with Indiana University, the Aspen Music Festival and School, and the Honolulu Symphony where she also performed as Associate Principal Flute and Piccolo. She has also interned in the libraries of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony, and at Tanglewood.
Laurie is a past President of the Major Orchestra Librarians’ Association (MOLA) and is the organization’s first leading officer from an educational institution. She is thrilled to be one of the stewards for the Fennell collection which is one of the largest performing ensemble collections in the country.
