Kerry Hayes is a lover and performer of all styles of music. As a singer/songwriter, she incorporates folk and jazz singing, playing cello, guitar, piano, and ukulele for accompaniment.

Studying an array of vocal styles while at Loyola University New Orleans, where she received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance with secondary concentrations in Jazz Vocals and Cello, Kerry has performed in many New Orleans Opera Association shows since 2009, including their Gala featuring Placido Domingo.

Professionally, Kerry has taught voice for Rock and Roll Camp Orlando from 2008-2012, working as Assistant Director of the camp to its Creator/Director Diane Cardarelli in 2009. She was Vocal Instructor for the “Talking Tabs” Music Camp in the Summer of 2007, a Music camp for visually impaired children. She has been a choral section leader in many choirs in Florida, Tennessee, and Louisiana. While in Nashville, she was the primary background vocalist and cellist for “Awake Studios” where she worked with producer Nick Bullock contributing to many folk, rock, and country albums.

Kerry currently resides in New Orleans, where she performs as a soloist and background singer with local artists, and as a chorus member of the New Orleans Opera Association. Her original album and singles can be found on ITunes.
