Justin Martin, Instructor of History & Political Science, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University at Buffalo's Honors College with a B.A. in History in 2007. He served as the department's only undergraduate teaching assistant in courses on 20th Century Mexico and U.S. Foreign Policy in the Cold War. In addition, he graduated the Outstanding Senior with the highest GPA among history majors and was awarded the John Horton Senior Thesis prize based on archival research at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA and interviews with former Reagan administration officials such as Edwin Meese III. Justin was the recipient of the paper prize at a regional Phi Alpha Theta conference in 2007 in the Cold War Category and was also an intern with U.S Senator Charles Schumer. He obtained his MS in Education in 2009.
