Johamy Morales

Johamy Morales is an instructor for Comparative Arts and a teaching artist for Blackbird Arts, Traverse City.  She has an MFA in acting from Ohio State University, with a specialization in devising new works, viewpoints, and Linklater.  She participated in a residency with SITI Company and studied Suzuki/Viewpoints training.  She is an alumna of the fellowship program at Arena Stage and the internship program at Seattle Children's Theatre Company.  Johamy studied Classical and Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England.  She has toured internationally to Mexico and South Africa for the Grahamstown National Arts Festival.
