Joan Raeburn Holland

Instructor of Harp, Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp


B.M., Cleveland Institute of Music. Harp student and assistant of Alice Chalifoux.

In addition to teaching at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Arts Camp, Joan is the Professor Associate of Harp at the University of Michigan. Ms. Holland is principal Harpist of Midland Symphony Orchestra, Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra and co-principal of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra. Her former positions include principal harpist, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and Cleveland Ballet Orchestra.

In recital, Ms. Holland performs solo and chamber music including performances at the American Harp Society regional and national conventions. Her concerto experience includes performances with the Midland Symphony, Lexington Bach Festival, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, Ithaca, New York Chamber Orchestra, Akron, Ohio Chamber Orchestra, Interlochen Arts Academy String Orchestra, and Traverse Symphony Orchestra.
