Elizabeth (Betty) Leden

Betty began her work at Interlochen in 2002.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nassau County Community College, Garden City, NY with an AAS degree in Marketing.  After moving to Interlochen she did some volunteer work at the Interlochen Public Library.  She is a volunteer tutor for Volunteers in Probate/Learning Partners where she works with elementary age children who are struggling to keep up and have situations at home (illness, divorce, etc.) that make life harder for them.  Music has always been a big part of her life and she has sung in church choirs since her teens, most recently with the Chancel Choir at Central United Methodist Church in Traverse City. She is also a volunteeer at the Music House Museum in Acme.
