Instructor of Music Composition and Theory John Boyle has had music performed throughout the country and has recently completed commissions for pieces from Chamber Music Amarillo, Midwest Artists and maestro Jung-Ho Pak. He has written in a variety of genres and styles for chamber groups, orchestras, wind ensembles, electronic and theater groups.
Boyle has been a faculty member at Interlochen Arts Camp since 1991 and has been a faculty member at Interlochen Arts Academy since the fall of 1999.
His teachers have included Marilyn Shrude, Burton Beerman, T. Scott Huston, Terry Riley and Fred Rzewski.
