New Visual Arts Facility
Interlochen is pleased to announce the opening of its newest building, the Herbert H. and Barbara C. Dow Center for Visual Arts. The 36,000 square foot building includes a gallery and eight studio spaces for digital arts, photography, printmaking, fiber arts, metals, sculpture, ceramics, and painting and drawing.

Academy Visual Arts student wins major national award
Interlochen Arts Academy visual arts student Shawn Smith was one of twelve high school seniors from across the nation to be honored with a Gold Portfolio Award from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
