The Conservatory Program in Music at Interlochen Arts Academy is a one-year, fully immersive artistic experience for recent high school graduates seeking a college-level music program on a vibrant campus of creative artists.

After the summer orientation, students will continue bi-weekly private lessons online, until they arrive on campus in September.
English Language Training for International Students
The Conservatory Program provides non-native English speakers the opportunity to fully prepare for a post-secondary conservatory degree. With intensive English language instruction, students will be able to prepare themselves for the demands of degree- seeking programs located in English-speaking countries. Students with significant language needs are required to attend ESL classes during the six-week summer orientation to the conservatory program.
Life on Campus
Students in the conservatory program will live in a residence hall on the beautiful Interlochen campus. Student rooms are furnished with internet access and are simple, functional places for resting and sleeping. Stone Dining Hall provides three meals a day with a variety of dietary options. Fitness facilities and regular opportunities for active recreation provide many opportunities to stay healthy. The residential life program for postgraduate students provides full access to the resources of a highly supportive campus while also encouraging greater independence and accountability to help students prepare for a successful transition to college life. Post-graduate students will share a common living environment and observe a distinct dress code.
