In July 2009, host Fred Child brought the the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today to Interlochen. The two-hour weekday program celebrates today's art of classical music in concert from sites across the nation and around the world, along with classical music news, interviews and features. Produced and distributed by American Public Media, Performance Today is one of America's most popular classical music radio programs, with more than 1.2 million weekly listeners on 237 stations around the country.
