During the summer, young visual artists from all over the world travel to Interlochen, where they can refine their skills or explore new mediums of expression. Take a look at the students, faculty and creativity that happens in the visual arts program at Interlochen every summer.
In the summer of 2013, Interlochen Arts Camp launched a new six-week musical theatre program for junior students. The junior musical theatre program helps students build a foundation in acting, dancing and singing.
The 2009 Future of Cinema Film Festival took place in May, and featured guest filmmakers Adrian Belic, Logan and Noah Miller, as well as representatives from the ARRI Group, which manufactures cameras and lighting equipment.

"A Prairie Home Companion” with Garrison Keillor, broadcasted live on NPR, was a night of music, comedy, and talent. The event showcased two Interlochen Arts Academy students who performed vocal and trumpet pieces. The sold-out concert highlighted Garrison Keillor’s creative and comical style along with several musical acts.
