  • The Advancement Associate position is part of an expansion of Interlochen advancement programs and services. It will provide support for the annual solicitation efforts, supervise a new internal telemarketing program and provide important analysis of donor trends and solicitation effectiveness.

    This position will provide specialized, professional research and support to the Interlochen Advancement and Alumni Offices. Major responsibilities include discovering and evaluating new philanthropic leads as well as existing prospects and donors using multiple research tools.

  • Job Title:  Camp Health Services Nurse

    Reports to:  Director of Health and Wellness Services, and supervising RN

    Position Purpose:  To provide nursing care to campers aged 8-18 years with a variety of health needs ranging from minor illnesses and injuries, to chronic illnesses such as asthma and diabetes.

  • Job Title: Campus Safety Officer

    Reports to: Director of Security, Transportation and Campus Safety

    Position Purpose: Officers provide 24/7 patrol of all campus facilities, property and special events, maintaining a safe environment for students, faculty and staff.

  • Job Title:  Health Services Assistant
     
    Reports to:  Director of Health and Wellness Services, and supervising RN 
     
    Position Purpose:  To assist Camp Nurses in providing health care to campers aged 8—18 years.  Also assist as needed with tasks supporting daily functioning of the department.

    Reports to:  Director of Health and Wellness Services 

    Position Purpose:  To provide support to the daily functioning of Health Services.

  • Job Title:  Instructor of Visual Arts 

    Reports to: Director of Visual Arts

    Position Purpose:  The purpose of the Instructor of Visual Arts is to provide summer instruction to students age 8-18 at both the exploratory and advanced levels.  Positions are available in the following areas:

  • Interlochen is seeking talented and creative performers to represent Interlochen as members of the Interlochen Ensemble for summer 2012.

  • Job Title:  Morning Edition Host/Producer

    Status: Full-time, salaried / non-exempt, non-seasonal with benefits

  • DATES: August 19, 2012 - May 26, 2013

    STATUS: Full-time, non-seasonal, contracted with benefits

    SALARY and COMPENSATION:  $17,290 plus non-taxable housing and all meals (when Dining Services is open) during the academic year (see contract dates). In most cases, vacations parallel student breaks.

  • DATES:  August 12, 2012 - June 2, 2013

    STATUS:  Full-time, non-seasonal, contract with benefits

    SALARY and COMPENSATION:   $20,600 plus non-taxable housing and all meals (when Food Service is open) during the academic year (see contract dates).  In most cases, vacations parallel student breaks.

  • Job Title: Stone Waterfront/Boat Cave Director

    Reports to: Waterfront Manager

    Position Purpose: The Stone Waterfront/Boat Cave Director is responsible for swimming programs at the public-accessible Stone Waterfront, and managing boating programs for campers, staff, and guests.

  • Job Title: Transportation Driver

    Reports to: Coordinator of Transportation and Travel

    Position Purpose: Drivers fulfill campus transportation needs, 24/7.

    Essential Job Functions: Drivers are responsible for providing safe transportation to students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors on campus as well as around the local area.
