Job Title: Transportation Driver
Reports to: Coordinator of Transportation and Travel
Position Purpose: Drivers fulfill campus transportation needs, 24/7.
Essential Job Functions: Drivers are responsible for providing safe transportation to students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors on campus as well as around the local area.
Other Job Duties: Other responsibilities may include transporting students to and from appointments in the local area, as well as support of other departments on campus. Drivers may also be required to assist the security department as needed.
Equipment Used: Campus owned vehicles, computers and phones.
Qualifications: Transportation drivers are, many times the first contact students, parents, visitors and guests have with Interlochen. Drivers must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, as well as positive public relations skills at all times. Drivers must possess the ability to accept responsibility and work without supervision. Criminal and motor vehicle background checks are required and drivers must possess a valid driver’s license. Qualified applicants having a current First Aid, CPR and AED certification will be given first consideration.
Compensation: $8.00 p/h (living off-campus), $1210 (on-campus including room and board)
