Job Title: Retail Store Staff
Reports to: Scholarshop, Auxiliary Services Department
Position Purpose: This individual serve as a customer service representative and cashier in the Scholarshop.
Essential Job Functions: The primary duty of the Scholarshop’s Retail Staff is to provide a high level of customer service to our campers, parents, faculty/staff, and other Interlochen patrons. Duties include cashiering, stock work, general housekeeping, and stock pricing.
Other Job Duties: Adherence to all ICA employment guidelines and performance of all daily duties assigned.
Equipment Used: Computer-based Point of Sale cash register.
Qualifications: Basic computer skills are required. A background in retail sales is preferred, but not required. Candidates with a classical music background or experience in music retail will be given special consideration. Candidates must also have the ability to follow instructions, fulfill our customer needs, work well with others and be part of a friendly and customer satisfaction based team.
Compensation: $1110 flat contract rate (includes room and board).
