Job Title: Electrician-Theatre
Reports to: Master Electrician
Position Purpose: Assist in preparation and operation of lighting for student theatrical performances.
Essential Job Functions: Setup and strike of lighting system in Penn Hall; serve as Lighting Designer for Intermediate productions.
Other Job Duties: There may be occasional need to assist with dance and guest artist productions.
Equipment Used: All professional theatrical lighting instruments and consoles.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects. Students currently studying lighting or theatrical production preferred. Position requires someone who is motivated and a quick learner with the ability to work occasional long hours and a flexible schedule. Knowledge of and experience in standard stage lighting production practices is required.
Compensation: $900 plus room and board
