Job Title: Assistant Technical Director-Theatre
Reports to: Technical Theater Manager
Position Purpose: Assist in the management of construction, finish, installation, and strike of scenery for High School and Intermediate theatrical productions.
Essential Job Functions: Supervise the crew, build and carry, rigging, tool maintenance, etc. Provide facility support, technical coordination and strategic planning advice for Intermediate theatrical productions. Provide facility support for the Junior theatrical shows in Penn Hall.
Other Job Duties: There may be occasional need to assist with dance and guest artist productions.
Equipment Used: All professional scene shop tools, computer, phones, large rental truck
Qualifications: Significant relevant experience with graduate and upper class college students preferred. Valid driver’s license is a must. Position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to work well in a collaborative environment. They should have a working knowledge of and experience in construction practices and supervision.
Compensation: $1,500 plus room and board
