Job Title: Apprentice Designer/Stitcher – 7 week position
Reports to: Costume Shop Supervisor/Designer
Position Purpose: Assist in the construction and coordination of all necessary costumes for theatrical performances.
Essential Job Functions: Will help with the design and construction of the High School Repertory and Musical Theater productions and work with the director of the Intermediate productions to coordinate any costume needs and have possible wardrobe assignment.
Other Job Duties: There may be occasional need to assist with dance and guest artist productions.
Equipment Used: All professional costume shop tools and equipment.
Qualifications: Must have some design experience and have excellent sewing and patterning skills.
Compensation: Between $1,900 plus room and board
