Aaron and Helen L. DeRoy Center for Film Studies
Students in the motion picture arts program have access to the key elements of filmmaking – all under one roof. The 26,000-square-foot building houses four editing suites, a sound stage, a 178-seat projection space and classrooms equipped with cutting-edge technology. It is the only building of its kind in the country, built to benefit young artists interested in developing their skills as filmmakers. With 24 residential rooms, it is also a home away from home for many students of the Interlochen Arts Academy. Read about the people who helped create this remarkable facility.
