Composer Garth Neustadter (JB 99, IB 00-01, HSB 03) received an Emmy Award on September 10, 2011 for his work on the PBS 'American Masters' documentary, "John Muir in the New World."

The motion picture arts program will screen works from high school filmmakers during the third annual Future of Cinema Festival, which opens on October 13. During the three-day festival, Arts Academy students and guest student filmmakers will have opportunities to meet and learn from several accomplished guest artists.

With the 50th anniversary reunion and 50th graduation ceremonies just over eight months away, it’s time to make your plans to come back to campus. Reunion activities run from Thursday, May 24 to Sunday, May 27, 2012. Now is the time to start booking flights and hotel rooms, and most importantly, calling all your old Academy friends.
