  • In the Fall of 2012, students from the Arts Academy will give performances in several American cities to mark the 50th year of Interlochen Arts Academy. 
  • Recently, Camp alumnus Barrett Foa established the Barrett Foa Musical Theatre Scholarship. It will be given annually to a high school camper studying musical theatre who shows strong potential for growth. “Crescendo” asked Barrett to share his thoughts about establishing the scholarship and how his own Interlochen experience has shaped his life and career so far.
  • Staring in the fall of 2011, the world will get a little smaller for Interlochen students: the Arts Academy has created educational partnerships with two leading arts programs in Asia: the High School of the Shanghai Conservatory in Shanghai, China, and the School for the Arts (SOTA) in Singapore.
  • Delali Ayivor, a creative writing student at Interlochen Arts Academy, has been named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. The 18 year-old senior is the 41st Arts Academy student to earn the distinction of being named a Presidential Scholar.
